A man was pronounced dead after a shooting at a skate park on Thursday.

The shooting happened in the area of 20th and Little Raven dtreets, Denver police said in a Thursday night X post. The area where the shooting occurred is near the Denver Skatepark and City of Cuernavaca Park in the Lower Downtown neighborhood.

Police initially said the victim was hospitalized, but an 11:25 a.m. Friday update said the victim, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigators were in contact with “everyone” involved in the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police said no arrests have been made as of Friday. The man who died was not identified, and police did not say if a suspect had been identified.

The Denver Office of Medical Examiner will release identification and cause of death pending an autopsy and notification of family.
