Broncos sign Blake Cotton, Reid Holskey after minicamp tryouts
The Broncos’ mandatory minicamp paid off for a pair of players.
The Broncos had eight players in for a tryout Tuesday and Wednesday. And on Thursday, they signed out of the group defensive back Blake Cotton and tackle Reid Holskey. To make room on the roster, Denver waived cornerback Ahmari Harvey and guard Nash Jones.
Spending last season at Utah, the undrafted Cotton had 30 tackles and seven passes defensed while starting eight of the 13 games he played. Before that, he spent three seasons at UC Davis.

Holskey spent last season on the New York Giants’ practice squad after having previous offseason stints with the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans. He was a first-team All-Mid-American Conference player at Miami of Ohio in 2024 before being undrafted in 2025.
Harvey was signed in May as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech. Jones, who spent some time on the Broncos’ practice squad in 2025, signed a futures contract.
After having two days of minicamp practices, the Broncos canceled Thursday’s final scheduled day. They will return to the field in late July for training camp.
