Three people were injured in a stabbing Saturday, leaving a woman dead, Denver police said.

The department said in a 3:17 p.m. X post that it was investigating a stabbing in the 1300 block of North Lowell Boulevard. Three people were transported to the hospital in unknown conditions, police said.

In an update posted at 6:26 p.m., police said an adult woman died.

Officers are working to determine a suspect profile, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
