CU announces ‘Charged Up’ points program for Boulder undergrads | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

CU-Boulder students who support Buffs athletics got a boost Monday.

Colorado Athletics, in conjunction with the University of Colorado Boulder Division of Student Life, announced a new student loyalty program for the 2026-27 season. “Charged Up” affords students the chance to collect points for improved access to football and men’s basketball games, among other events, the school said.

Starting Thursday, undergrads can purchase a CU Athletics Sports Pass for $265. Students will earn points for every event they attend. Points are awarded based on students’ class year and the number of credit hours completed, the school said, with points for attending football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, tennis and track and field events.

“Students are the lifeblood of our events and our student-athletes feed off the incredible energy our students bring to every game,” said CU athletics director Fernando Lovo.
