Metro Moves: Taco Bell Cantina opens at Denver airport
Taco Bell has arrived at Denver International Airport and it’s selling booze.
Last week, the airport debuted the state’s first-ever Taco Bell Cantina and the first of its kind at any airport. Cantinas are a new concept from Taco Bell, where the fast-food restaurant offers specialty items and alcoholic beverages such as beer and boozy Twisted Freezes.
Some specialties on the menu include Chicken Fajita Nacho Fries, Mexican pizza and slow-roasted marinated Cantina chicken.
It also marks the return of Taco Bell to the airport. It’s located near gate A47 at Concourse A.
The airport said in a news release the addition of Taco Bell Cantina is an economic win for attracting the brand and adding jobs. DIA has added dozens of new concessions to its concourses as part of its wider strategy to support 100 million annual passengers.
“While Taco Bell Cantina is new to DEN, it’s also a welcome return of the Taco Bell brand to our concession lineup,” airport CEO Phil Washington said in a news release. “As we continue to grow, our focus remains on our passengers and the diverse experiences they enjoy throughout their time at the airport. Taco Bell Cantina is a familiar brand and part of our commitment to offer travelers a variety of food and beverage options.”
Los Dos Potrillos will reopen Littleton restaurant after fire
Los Dos Potrillos, the local Mexican comfort food restaurant chain, is ready to reopen for business after a kitchen fire at its Littleton location.
The restaurant at 10065 W. San Juan Way announced it will open its doors again at 11 a.m. Wednesday after several months of repairs. The restaurant temporarily closed after a kitchen fire on March 3.
Ramirez Hospitality Group, owners of Los Dos Potrillos, said they used the remodel as an opportunity to redesign the space with a new “wall of traditions” honoring its family recipes and history.
“The support we received from this community — and from the first responders who were there when we needed them most — meant everything to our team,” said Daniel Ramirez, CEO of Ramirez Hospitality Group, in a news release. “We didn’t keep this location closed and our people waiting because it was easy. We did it because this room is worth doing right.”
Los Dos Potrillos was founded in Centennial in 2002 by the Ramirez family. The restaurant has five other locations including Highlands Ranch, Denver, Parker, Castle Rock and its home city of Centennial.

Every Little Thing opens in Cherry Creek
A popular health-focused eatery in Denver expanded to Cherry Creek for its third location.
Every Little Thing, which was previously known as Green Collective Eatery, debuted its new spot at 2816 E. 3rd Ave. It’s an 800-square-foot space with an outdoor patio and coffee window for grab-and-go orders.
It’s open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Every Little Thing was founded in 2021 and rebranded to its new name this year. It has two other locations near Washington Park and in Lower Highland.
The eatery is known for organic meals including smoothies, bowls, salads, toast, sugar-free foods and adaptogenic lattes made of turmeric, mushrooms or matcha.
“Cherry Creek North felt like a wonderful next step for Every Little Thing,” said founder Allison Rifkin in a news release.
“As we looked to grow, we wanted to be somewhere that aligned with our brand and where our customers already live, work and gather. Cherry Creek North gives us that opportunity,” she added.
