Motorcyclist killed in Sheridan crash
A motorcyclist was killed in an early-morning crash in Sheridan on Wednesday that left a portion of Santa Fe Drive closed.
The crash happened just after 6 a.m. at northbound Santa Fe and Highway 285, Hampden Avenue. Sheridan police said a motorcyclist rear-ended an Xcel work truck and was killed.
The crash left northbound Santa Fe closed as police investigated the scene. Police asked drivers to avoid the area during the investigation.
The motorcyclist was not identified by police and Santa Fe was reopened by 8:30 a.m.
