Former Columbine standout Jaylee Tait named coach of MSU Denver women’s golf | Colorado Sunshine
Where good news shines
Jaylee Tait knows the Colorado golf scene.
A former Columbine High School standout, Tait on Monday was named head coach of the MSU Denver women’s program, the school said. Originally from Littleton, she succeeds Stef Ferguson as coach of the Roadrunners.
“As a Colorado native, joining the MSU Denver golf program and the Roadrunner family is incredibly meaningful,” Tait said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited for what’s ahead. I look forward to building relationships with our student-athletes and helping our program continue to grow both on and off the course.”
Tait previously worked as an assistant golf pro at Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel. She also founded Teed Up Golf Events and continues to compete professionally. Tait played her college golf at Montana State.
MSU Denver last season saw Neige Dunn become an All-RMAC first-team selection.
