An adult man drowned in the Cherry Creek Reservoir Tuesday, state parks officials said.
Witnesses described the man with two other adults on an inflatable raft when it flipped over off the shore of the Cherry Creek swim beach around 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
One of the rafters was rescued by a nearby paddleboarder, and another swam to shore, according to the release. None of the adults were reportedly wearing life jackets when the raft capsized.
