Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Friday afternoon near East 48th Place and Argonne Street.

DENVER — One person is dead after a shooting in Denver’s Green Valley Ranch neighborhood.

The Denver Police Department said they received reports of a vehicle crash in the area of East 48th Place and Argonne Street at 4:40 p.m. Friday, but then learned that a shooting had taken place.

The man who was shot later died at the hospital, police said.
