DENVER — Denver Police are investigating a shooting that killed a person Saturday morning.

Police posted just before 1 a.m. that officers were investigating the shooting in the area of East 45th Avenue and North Sherman Street. That’s just southeast of the intersection of Interstates 25 and 70.

In an update posted just before 10:30 a.m., police said the victim was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

Police did not share any details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting or suspect information.
