Denver hits 100-degree mark for first time in 2026

DENVER — In case you haven’t been outside, it’s hot. Like really hot. 

Like cooking an egg on a sidewalk hot.

The official weather station at Denver International Airport hit 100 degrees Monday, along with weather stations in Denver’s Central Park and downtown neighborhoods.

9NEWS Weather Impact Team Meteorologist Chris Bianchi said this is the first triple-digit reading in Denver since July 9 of last year. This is the 113th time Denver has hit 100 degrees since official records began in 1872. This also marks the 10th out of the last 11 years that Denver has hit the 100-degree mark.
