Deion Sanders and his Colorado team are road tripping down Interstate 25.

Colorado said Thursday the Buffaloes’ preseason training camp will begin Aug. 2 with the entire first week to take place in Colorado Springs.

The team will stay on the sister campus at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (UCCS) and practice each day at Fountain-Fort Carson High School before returning to Boulder on Aug. 8 for the rest of fall camp.

The Buffs have previously practiced outside of Boulder during the preseason in 2024, when they held a public practice at All-City Stadium in Denver.

There will be no public events during the team’s stay in Colorado Springs as they get ready for the 2026 season, Coach Prime’s fourth in charge, which begins at Georgia Tech on Thursday, Sept. 3 (6 p.m. ESPN), in Atlanta.
