Let “The Odyssey” resume.

The IMAX 70mm projector at Regal UA Colorado Center appears to be working again.

Multiple Reddit users on Thursday posted updates that the IMAX 70mm projector was working again as of the 8 a.m. showing.

In addition, the Regal UA Colorado Center, at 2000 S. Colorado Blvd., resumed selling tickets specifically for the IMAX 70mm shows as of Thursday afternoon. The option had vanished from its website earlier in the week.

The Denver Gazette has been unable to independently confirm reports from Reddit. Regal did not return an email from The Denver Gazette seeking confirmation that the projector was working again, and the phone number to the theater appeared to be either disconnected or not accepting calls.

The Denver theater is one of only 41 in the entire world that can show “The Odyssey” in its original IMAX 70mm format, but it hit a glitch during Saturday’s 11:40 a.m. showing, forcing the theater to cancel the showing.

The Christopher Nolan film, an adaptation of Homer’s Odyssey which debuted July 16, is the first feature film shot entirely with IMAX cameras.

The Regal UA Colorado Center has drawn moviegoers from far and wide since the IMAX 70mm format offers the highest resolution and biggest possible screen and is one of only 25 in the country capable of showing the film in the 70mm format.

When the technical issue forced it to cancel showings, the theater pivoted to showing the IMAX Digital version instead, along with giving viewers a voucher to come back sometime within the next 18 months. Moviegoers were also given the option to receive a refund if they opted not to see the film.
