Southbound lanes of Interstate 25 were closed near Highway 34, according to Colorado State Patrol.

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — A crash involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian closed southbound lanes of Interstate 25 early Friday morning.

At about 8:45 a.m., Colorado State Patrol was alerted to a pedestrian who was on southbound I-25 near Highway 34, according to state patrol. The pedestrian, a 66-year-old man from Berthoud, was running into traffic and causing vehicles to swerve, state patrol said.

Shortly after, a crash involving the pedestrian and a silver Kenworth semi-truck was reported, according to state patrol. The driver of the semi, a 29-year-old man from Fort Lupton, was not injured in the crash, state patrol said.
