It makes sense that Quandary Peak tops the list of most popular fourteener climbs in Colorado. It’s one of the easier fourteener routes via the standard trail with a trailhead that’s convenient to reach. According to 14ers.com, the standard route is Class 1, traveling 6.75 miles with 3,450 feet of vertical gain.
As Quandary continues to grow in popularity, parking has become a concern. The small lot at the base of the trailhead tends to fill up fast, with overflow parking crowding nearby roads.
