According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, multiple closures are active on I-70 as winter weather rolls through the state of Colorado. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternative route where closures are in place. Up to 16 inches of snow is expected to fall in parts of the state over the next 24 hours, with the Colorado State Patrol encouraging employers to release their employees early with the message “safety of your people over profits.”
