Jack-knifed semi blocks traffic on mountain pass in Colorado
According to Colorado Department of Transportation, a semi has jack-knifed on CO 9 at Hoosier Pass. The southbound lane are currently closed without a released estimation of reopening. The announcement warns drivers of delays.
Hoosier Pass reaches a maximum altitude of 11,542 feet. It consists of switchbacks and steep grades, connecting the Breckenridge area to Fairplay.
Other closures have taken place around the state, including a closure of lanes on I-70 and Berthoud Pass.

As heavy snow starts to fall across much of Colorado, bringing more than 20+ inches of snow to some areas, traffic issues have started to arise.
