The competition to open first is heating up.

Shortly after Keystone Resort announced it was opening on Saturday, October 12 for 2019-20 ski season, with potential to be the first ski resort to open in North America – Arapahoe Basin quickly fired back.

Arapahoe Basin is now leading the charge in the race to open first, welcoming skiers and riders from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM Friday evening, October 11. The resort will kick off their first official day of the season with lift tickets running at $15 with $5 beers at the 6th Alley Bar & Grill.

Here’s a look at all the opening and closing dates for the  2019-2020 ski season at every resort in Colorado. Please note, dates are subject to change according to ski resort conditions and weather.
