Colorado is home to 41 state parks, with a 42nd state park in the makings. On that list is Mueller State Park, a hidden treasure located on the west side of Pikes Peak between the historic towns of Divide and Cripple Creek, only a short distance from Colorado Springs.

The beauty of Mueller State Park will fill you with awe. Hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders can explore 50 miles of hiking trails nestled in the 5,121-acre park, filled with scenic wonders. The park is also home to a diverse range of wildlife, including elk, black bears, hawks, mule deer, and over 300 species of documented birds.
