1. Drag Racing – Midnight Madness
Located on the outskirts of Grand Junction, head to the Western Colorado Dragway for some Friday night fun. Cheer on the racers as they challenge each other to see whose car is the fastest in this street, legal drag race.

2. Food Truck Friday
Head over to Grand Junction on Friday, August 9th and witness the liveliness as food trucks from all over Grand Valley join together in Lincoln Park. Attend this event with an empty stomach because you’re going to want to taste the BBQ and Mexican dishes and the ice cream.

4. 2017 Black Forest Festival – “Black Forest or Bust”

5. Pretty Lights Live @ Red Rocks
Head over to Red Rocks Amphitheater on August 11th and 12th for some classic Colorado electronic dance music. In addition to legendary light shows, this live music performance also features G Jones, Manic Focus, SoDown & Daily Bread and combines electronica with hip hop music.
