1 dead in northeast Denver shooting

Denver police officers on Monday morning are investigating a deadly shooting that took place in Green Valley Ranch overnight.

At around midnight, Denver police received a call for a shooting in the 4100 block of N Orleans St., according to a Denver Police Department post on social media platform X.

The area is in a Green Valley Ranch neighborhood in northeast Denver.

Police initially said one person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, later reporting the victim had died in the hospital.

No suspect is in custody.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
