Broncos vs. New York Jets in London | The Denver Gazette’s picks

The Denver Gazette sports staff predicts Sunday’s game between the Broncos and the New York Jets in London.
Paul Klee’s pick: Broncos 27, Jets 13
Am I still on Cloud Nine from predicting Nik Bonitto’s 2.5 sacks and a Broncos upset in Philadelphia? Yes. But these London games get weird. The crowd is neutral, with more Tom Brady jerseys than jerseys in the game. With low confidence, I’ll say Bo Nix solves a bad start and kneels in a victory formation.
Overall record: 4-1
Chris Schmaedeke’s pick: Broncos 24, Jets 13
The game will be closer than a lot of fans want it to be, but the Broncos come back from London with a win. Coach Sean Payton realizes that J.K. Dobbins is his best weapon and rushes for over 100 yards against a Jets defense that hasn’t stopped anybody all year.
Overall record: 2-3
Chris Tomasson’s pick: Broncos 27, Jets 17
The Broncos last year spent a week in West Virginia and concluded a 2-0 trip with a win over the Jets. They’ve spent the past week in London, and look for them to complete another 2-0 trip with a win over the Jets. The Broncos are scheduled to play at the Jets in 2026. Don’t be surprised if Sean Payton looks to take them somewhere for a week before that game.
Overall record: 3-2
Mark Kiszla’s pick: Broncos 24, Jets 20
When coaches and players take great pains to insist there are no trap games in the NFL, you conclusively know: This is a trap game. Feeling on top of the world across the pond, it will be a test of the Broncos’ maturity and focus not to get dragged down to the lowly Jets’ level.
Overall record: 4-1
Kyle Fredrickson’s pick: Broncos 30, Jets 21
The Broncos are off to a dominant start defensively. One thing they haven’t done in five games? Score a defensive touchdown. That changes on Sunday in London when Nik Bonitto finds the end zone and solidifies his early case for NFL Defensive Player of the Year. The Jets should provide ample opportunities.
Overall record: 3-2
