Broncos should win seven straight, copy Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Denver | Boos and cheers

Two cheers, two boos from the Broncos’ 13-11 win over the Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday:
Cheers!
… to the NFL for trying to fit in with the locals. When in London, kick the ball. The Broncos and Jets combining for 13 punts and five field goals will be the lasting memory of the NFL’s latest foray into soccer country, but this snoozer was forgettable. What were the odds on tight end Nate Adkins scoring the only touchdown? Perhaps the NFL guys saw the contract of Erling Haaland, whose weekly income is $610,000 for kicking balls with Manchester City.

Boo…
Everything about Denver’s offense. Leave it in London. Year 2 of Bo Nix should not look like the Russell Wilson era. In fact, it looks worse. Wilson took his high knees to London in 2022 and returned with 252 passing yards and 21 points. Nix had 174 passing yards and 13 points in his Europe debut. Broncos tailbacks J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey and Jaleel McLaughlin averaged 2.5 yards per touch. Twelve first downs? That was a Peyton Manning quarter. Bollocks.

Cheers!
To the Broncos’ ownership group, which knows a marketing opportunity when it sees one. How about Carrie Walton Penner pouring pints at a pub filled with Broncos fans? And now Broncos Country can get fired up for the football palace that’s coming here. When the billionaire Broncos were touring stadiums to take notes on the next Mile High, two stood out: U.S. Bank in Minneapolis and Tottenham Hotspur in London. The latter was spectacular on Sunday.

Boo…
… the Broncos for being anything short of 8-2. The NFL gave the Broncos a schedule to die for. After the 0-6 Jets, the Broncos get the Giants (2-4), Cowboys (2-2-1), Texans (2-4) and Raiders (1-4). It’s a lineup of tomato cans before Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs visit Empower Field on Sunday, Nov. 16. If you still believe in the Broncos after the offense stunk up the joint in London, the next month of wins should be up your alley.
