Today, ski restaurants among the best resorts in the U.S. offer “elevated menus, cozy atmospheres, and unbeatable convenience.”

USA Today 10Best has released its picks for the best ski restaurants across the U.S., and the winners include craft beer bars, gourmet bistros, and fine dining establishments. With Colorado’s plethora of world-class ski resorts, it’s no surprise that three Colorado ski restaurants made the cut to be included on the list.

USA Today’s 10Best is a readers’ choice awards program highlighting the best in destinations, food and drink, hotels, and things to do. To create the rankings, an expert panel selects their top picks in each category. Then readers vote to determine the ten winners.

Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro at Aspen Snowmass took third place on the list. The ski-in, ski-out restaurant is located at the top of Cloud Nine lift in Aspen Highlands. Skiers can order European specialties including fondue, raclette, and schnitzel at the restaurant, as well as take their pick off of the extensive wine list. USA Today also says that the deck “turns up the apres-ski volume with ski boot dance parties, champagne chilled in fresh-shoveled snow, and a general welcoming atmosphere.”

Element 47 at The Little Nell, also located in Aspen, came in at seventh place. According to USA Today, The Little Nell is a fine dining restaurant offers contemporary Colorado cuisine.

The last Colorado restaurant included on the list is The 10th at Vail Ski Resort, which took tenth place. The 10th is located at the top of Gondola One at MidVail and offers an upscale dining experience. The restaurant serves American cuisine and guests can enjoy the views of the Gore Range while they enjoy their meal.

The Reserve at Tamarack Resort took first place as the best ski restaurant in the U.S.
