Adams County closes human services at Aurora Service Center, directs residents to other locations

Adams County is moving human services out of the Aurora Service Center at 3155 Chambers Road and directing people who need those services to various other county locations starting Jan. 1.

Services like food and medical assistance, EBT card issuance and employment and workforce programs are available at other locations, according to a county alert.

EBT card issuance ends at the Aurora Service Center at noon Dec. 30. Beginning Jan. 1, other programming will also no longer be available at the center.

•Brighton Workforce and Business Center 36 S. 18th Ave., Unit A, Brighton

•Aurora Workforce Center, 15400 E. 14th Place, Aurora

•Oxford Vista Aurora Satellite Workforce Center, 14995 E. Oxford Ave., Aurora

•Denver Workforce Center at Montbello, 4685 Peoria St., Suite 251, Denver
