World-renowned DJ Dillon Francis to perform at 10,350′ during free mountaintop pop-up show in Vail
Vail Mountain is set to host its second winter pop-up concert of the season, featuring world-renowned DJ Dillon Francis who’s known for hits like ‘Say Less’ and ‘Get Low.’
The pop-up show will take place on the Eagle’s Nest Rooftop from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 10 and it’s free to attend though concertgoers will need to have an Epic Pass, scenic gondola ticket, or valid lift ticket to access the venue via the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Expect stunning views of the surrounding terrain to accompany the experience, too, with the venue found at 10,350 feet above sea level.
A total of 400 wristbands will be handed out to provide access to the show, given on a first-come, first-served basis. The pick-up spot for the wristbands will be at the walking path east of the Lionshead ticket office, with distribution starting at 9 a.m. (more information on obtaining wristbands can be found here). Heads up – there’s sure to be high demand with potential for a long line of hopeful attendees, so arriving early for wristbands is recommended. It’s also worth noting that this event is exclusive to those 21 years of age or older – an ID will be required at wristband pick-up.
Joining Dillon Francis will be Sunny Side Up, who is set to perform from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with Francis taking the stage from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Those unable to attend this on-mountain show may be interested in purchasing tickets to see Dillon Francis perform at Chasing Rabbits on the nights of January 9 or January 10. Chasing Rabbits is a restaurant and venue located in Vail’s Solaris Plaza, which is also home to Vail Brewing Company and an ice rink.
The Dillon Francis show will be Vail Mountain’s second pop-up show of the season, following a Sofi Tukker show that took place on December 13.
