Dude ranches offer a unique vacation experience. Guests are invited to escape into the country, learn about ranch life, and enjoy the stunning natural scenery around them.

USA Today’s 10Best recently released their list of the best dude ranches in the country and the results include locations offering everything from horseback riding, fishing, cattle pushing, and campfires, to comfy accommodations and delicious meals. One Colorado dude ranch made the list.

USA Today’s 10Best is a readers’ choice awards program that showcases the best in the country’s destinations, food and drink, hotels, and things to do. An expert panel selects the nominees and readers vote to determine the winners.

C Lazy U Ranch took seventh place on the list. Located in Granby, C Lazy U Ranch is an all-inclusive, luxury guest ranch that offers 38 rooms, including three-bedroom cabins. According to USA Today, “the traditions of the American West are alive and well at C Lazy U Ranch.” Guests can go horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or even practice cattle pushing, all while enjoying gourmet meals.

Eatons’ Ranch in Wolf, Wyoming took first place.
