Homicide investigation underway after woman found dead in Colorado Springs apartment
A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead Saturday in an apartment in the city’s Knob Hill neighborhood, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Officers received reports of a death just after 7 a.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of East Dale Street, police said.
The department’s homicide unit responded to the scene, and an investigation has been launched.
The Coroner’s Office will determine cause and manner of death after conducting an autopsy.
Authorities won’t release the victim’s name until her relatives have been notified.
