Broncos at Ravens grades: Denver humbled in 41-10 rout

Nobody has dominated the Denver defense like the Ravens did.

The Denver Broncos were no match for the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Here are the grades from Denver’s 41-10 loss:

Offense

There were signs the Denver offense would keep up with the Ravens despite turning the ball over on the second play from scrimmage. The Broncos and Bo Nix moved the ball well during the first half but two failed fourth-down conversions spoiled chances for points. The game quickly got out of hand and Nix was pretty much throwing on every play.

Grade: C

Defense

Nobody has dominated the Denver defense like the Ravens did. The Broncos forced a punt on the first drive of the game and that was it until the game was out of control. Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers and the whole gang were a step faster than Denver. And much, much stronger.

Grade: D-

Special teams

No big plays on special teams. Wil Lutz hit his one field goal.

Grade: A

Coaching

Sean Payton’s offense clicked for most of the first half before the Ravens’ rout was on. His play calls on two fourth downs were suspect and seemed overly complicated for the situation. The coach knew he needed touchdowns to keep up but came up short.
