Denver police arrested a suspect after four men suffered gunshot wounds early Monday morning at a strip mall in the 7100 block of Leetsdale Drive at Oneida Street, according to the Denver Police Department.

Police were called to the address about 5:45 a.m., for a disturbance that lead to a shooting, according to police.

Four men were injured in the shooting. The extent of their injuries was not revealed Monday.

Later on Monday, police said they arrested Joshua Grays, 27, in connection to the shooting.

The investigation found there was a fight that escalated outside a business, according to police, citing surveillance footage and witness testimony.

Authorities arrested Grays in Greenwood Village. He is being held for investigation of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault with a deadly weapon.

Police officials told The Denver Gazette they don’t believe the shooting is gang related.

The shooting occurred inside a strip mall in an area located near residential apartments and homes.

Shots appeared to be fired outside an employment/staffing office. The windows of the business was shattered.

At the scene, a mini sedan appeared to sustain a bullet hole on the driver’s window in the parking lot, just over 30 feet away from dozens of investigation cones outside the employment office.

A red Chicago Bulls hat was seen next to a crime scene cone outside the employment office.

Surrounding the strip mall is a dollar store, dental office, fast food restaurants, liquor store, smoke shop, cleaners and a grocery store. The employment offices neighbors a nail salon and thrift store donation center. None of the businesses were open at the time of the shooting.
