Douglas County coroner identifies 2 people found dead in related incidents

Death investigation near Parker

The identities of two of three people found dead last week in Douglas County were released Tuesday.

The Douglas County Coroner’s Office said Brandon Timms, 38, was found dead off a trail near the Rueter-Hess Incline, near Ancestry Drive in unincorporated Douglas County, a little before 9 a.m. Thursday. A boy’s body was also found with Timms. The coroner’s office did not release the boy’s name.

Investigators with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office found information at that scene that led them to ask Parker Police at 10:15 a.m. to conduct a welfare check at a home on Blackwolf Drive. Parker Police entered the home and found 43-year-old Angel Meyers dead.

The coroner’s office did not release causes of death for any of the people involved, and law enforcement has not disclosed information on the circumstances of their deaths.

The officers also noticed a gas leak in the home and evacuated homes in the immediate area. South Metro Fire Rescue assisted with shutting off the gas leak, police said.

Residents were allowed back in their homes after the leak had been shut off.
