Denver police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Saturday morning.

The shooting was reported in the 2800 block of Moline Street, just west of M.L.K Jr. Boulevard and Peoria Street in northeast Denver.

Police announced the shooting investigation on social media at 8:45 a.m.

Officers are working to develop suspect information. No other details were immediately provided.
