I-70 reopened after crash closes eastbound lanes in Wheat Ridge Friday morning
UPDATE: Interstate 70 is now reopened after an early morning crash closed the eastbound lanes.
At about 2:30 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a crash in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Routt Street, according to the Wheat Ridge Police Department. A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, Wheat Ridge Police said.
The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Wheat Ridge are closed Friday morning due to a crash.

Colorado Department of Transportation reports eastbound I-70 between CO 72; Ward Road and CO 391 in Wheat Ridge at mile point 266.4 is closed. Expect delays due to a crash.
The interstate first closed at 2:44 a.m. Friday.
