Global architecture firm planting flag in Denver

Global architecture firm M Moser Associates announced Tuesday they will be opening a Denver office.

The 40-year-old company specializes in workplace design and employs more than 1,000 in 23 locations worldwide. It was founded by Chairman Moira Moser.

M Moser offices vary from 30 employees to more than 200, so the Denver office will start with a small team at 1001 Bannock St. and grow from there. The company decided to open an office here because of “the region’s economic growth and surging client demand,” according to a release.

“Denver is an attractive regional hub given its central location in the U.S., the access it provides to a deep pool of talent, and its rich history in modern office design,” said John Sellery, group managing director and Denver resident in a statement. “The market has become a magnet for many of M Moser’s high-growth clients and industries — from technology and science, healthcare, oil and gas, aerospace and more — that require a new approach to architecture and design — one that seamlessly integrates the physical, digital, and social needs of their employees.”

In addition to architects, the company typically hires interior designers, engineers, sustainability specialists, employee wellbeing experts and construction specialists, according to its website mmoser.com. It has designed offices for the Zillow Group in New York, PwC in Beijing, TiVo in Warsaw, Poland, and the NBA in Mumbai, India – among many others.

Director Eric Lind runs the Denver office with Senior Associate Laura Walsh, Client Services. Lind calls himself a “transplant native” with more than 30 years in Denver and Walsh is a Denver native, giving them “a deep understanding of the region’s culture and business environment.”

“People who live in and around Denver place a premium on the connection to the outdoors and the natural beauty of their physical surroundings — both of which heavily influence how we design to attract the best and brightest talent in the area,” Lind said in a statement. “Whether gazing at the Rocky Mountains from your office window or venturing out for a hike, our relationship with nature and how it defines workplace cultures throughout the city is what makes our job so special and rewarding.”
