Denver is expected to have a near picture-perfect day on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service said to expect a warm, sunny day with a high near 69. Winds are forecasted to be light, only reaching up to 11 mph.

The good weather seems to be a constant throughout the state. Colorado’s mountains could receive some precipitation, and fire danger will not be elevated, according to the weather service.

There is a slight chance that the precipitation in the higher counties reaches the Denver area this evening. Forecasters give the metro area a 20% chance of rain before 7 p.m.

This evening, expect a low of around 43 with little change in the wind.

Rain becomes more likely as the week progresses, with showers forecasted Thursday through Monday.
