Colorado women’s basketball adds transfer from Kansas State | Colorado Sunshine
Where good news shines
Colorado women’s basketball added a key transfer Tuesday.
Aniya’ Foy, a rising sophomore who played last season at Kansas State, will transfer to CU, Buffs coach JR Payne said. Foy played in 36 games last season, averaging 4.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. She had 12 points, two rebounds, one block and one steal in a Big 12 tournament game against Texas Tech.
“We’re excited to add Aniya’ to our program,” Payne said. “She’s a competitor with great instincts and a very high ceiling. Her game and mindset fit perfectly with our culture.”
Foy is a graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Texas. She was considered a four-star recruit and ranked the No. 4 recruit in the state of Texas.
