Five-car crash closes southbound lanes of I-225 in Aurora
AURORA, Colo. — A five-car crash has closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 225 in Aurora Thursday morning.
Initially, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) said southbound I-225 is closed between Interstate 70 and Colfax Avenue. At about 5:44 a.m., CDOT reported that some southbound lanes had reopened.
The Aurora Police Department (APD) said its officers are investigating a five-vehicle crash and that two people have been transported to the hospital.
