Denver weather: Sunny and pleasant for Memorial Day weekend
Denver weather forecasters said to expect mostly sunny and pleasant weather on Friday heading into Memorial Day weekend.
The National Weather Service in Boulder said to expect the high to reach 64 degrees in Denver on Friday. That’s about 10 degrees cooler than the average high for May 22 in Denver, according to weather service archive data.
There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight in Denver, but meteorologists said there’s about a 20% chance of precipitation in Denver.
The low is expected to dip to 45 overnight, with wind gusts up to 45 mph.
Then things will clear up for Memorial Day weekend with sunny skies and a high of 72 on Saturday, 81 on Sunday and 85 on Memorial Day. A slight, 20% chance of precipitation moves back into the forecast on Memorial Day, the weather service said.
