One killed in Aurora shooting
A person was killed after an early morning shooting in Aurora.
Aurora police responded just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday to an apartment complex in the 14100 block of East Colorado Drive in Aurora on reports of a shooting, according to a news release. Responding officers found a 48-year-old man dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said some kind of verbal altercation at the apartment led to the shooting. No arrests have been made as of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The man killed in the shooting was not identified by police. His identity will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office pending family notification and an autopsy, police said.
