Where good news shines
The Denver Pioneers hockey announced eight incoming freshmen who will join the program for the 2026-27 season.
The forwards: Mike Berchild (Excelsior, Minn.), Max Heise (Calgary, Alberta), Ryan Miller (Medicine Hat, Alberta) and Jack Pridham (Stouffville, Ontario). The defensemen: Blake Fiddler (Frisco, Texas), Ryan Lin (Richmond, British Columbia), Ben MacBeath (Calgary, Alberta) and Daxon Rudolph (Lacombe, Alberta).
“This incoming class of Pioneers brings an impressive combination of talent, leadership and championship experience to our program,” Denver coach David Carle said. “This is a dynamic group that has proven that they can produce at a high level on the biggest stages while serving as leaders for their previous squads. They are also high-character student-athletes who are committed to excellence on and off the ice, and we’re excited about the impact they’ll have for our team.”
