Denver weather: A rainy evening breaks up hot summer day
Another day of afternoon rain is on tap for Denver on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service said to expect a high of 92 degrees with moderate winds and a 60% chance of precipitation.
Rain isn’t expected until the afternoon, growing in severity as the day continues. Forecasters predict rain to roll in before turning into thunderstorms around 5 p.m. and potentially continuing until 8 p.m.
The northeast corner of the state will be especially susceptible, with potential hail and winds up to 70 miles per hour.

Today and Thursday are slated to be the last two days of rainfall, according to the weather service. The rest of this week into the next is looking sunny, dry, and very hot with temperatures nearing 100 degrees.
Tonight, expect a low of around 61 degrees with rain to break by 8 p.m. and calm winds.
