Denver weather: More storms fill the afternoon to evening skies

Colorado continues to be stormy on Thursday as forecasters warn it could be the worst one yet.

The National Weather Service said to expect a high of around 89 degrees with a 50% chance of thunderstorms and moderate winds.

Many Denver residents felt the variability in weather patterns this week, and it looks like it will continue. The weather service expects rain, lightning, high winds and even warns of hail any time after 1 p.m.

The National Weather Service has expanded its severe weather watch all the way to the Front Range, including Denver in its boundaries for the first time this week.

As we continue into the weekend and beyond, Denver will continue to get hotter as temperatures are slated to break the 100s early next week.

Tonight, expect a low of around 59 degrees with storms breaking by 8 p.m. and mild winds.
