Denver weather: More isolated showers on tap
Denver is in store for another rainy afternoon, but it might be the last one for a while.
The National Weather Service said to expect a high of around 90 degrees with later afternoon thunderstorms and variable winds on Friday.
It’s the fourth day in a row that thunderstorms have been forecast for the afternoon. Forecasters expect storms to be isolated and scattered, ranging from Denver to the eastern planes.
Rain isn’t expected until about 4 p.m. and shouldn’t last after 9 p.m.
Today will be the last in a strong of potential rainy day. As far as the weather service is willing to predict, Denver and much of the state will be hot and dry.
Temperatures are still predicted to near the 100s early next week, and not a drop of rain is forseen through at least Thursday.
Tonight, expect a low of around 60 degrees with winds picking up slightly and all rain to cease by 9 p.m.
