The National Republican Congressional Committee added seven candidates to its “MAGA Majority” list as Republicans look to keep the House in November.

The MAGA Majority, formerly known as the “Young Guns,” is the list of NRCC-backed candidates in battleground districts across the country. Each of the 24 candidates has been endorsed by President Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

Democrats are looking to flip the House after a tough loss in 2024 sent the party scrambling for new messaging, but a slew of mid-decade redistricting efforts and the rise of socialist standard-bearers in the Democratic Party have instilled more confidence in Republicans’ ability to keep the House.

“While House Democrats are consumed by infighting and lurching further to the far left, Republicans continue to build the strongest candidate roster in the country,” NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson (R-NC) wrote in a statement. “These America First leaders are exactly the kind of battle-tested conservatives who will help us grow our majority and continue advancing President Donald Trump’s agenda.”

Here are the seven candidates the NRCC is backing in targeted seats:

Barb Regnitz, a Porter County commissioner, is running against Rep. Frank Mrvan (D-IN) for a seat labeled “Likely Democrat,” but the nonpartisan Cook Political Report says it has “all the characteristics of a district that should be moving in Republicans’ direction.”

Amir Hassan is aiming to unseat Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI) in what is a “Lean Democrat” seat, according to the Cook Political Report.

Mike Bouchard is the favorite for the GOP nomination for Rep. John James’s (R-MI) seat after the House Republican made a bid for governor, leaving the seat open in the suburban Detroit-area district.

Anthony DiLorenzo scored the president’s endorsement on Monday and is running for the seat vacated by Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH) as he runs for Senate. Former Vice President Kamala Harris won this district by just 2 points in 2024.

Jeanine Driscoll, a local elected official, is running in a Long Island seat against freshman Rep. Laura Gillen (D-NY), who won narrowly with 51.1% of the vote in 2024.

Republicans are aiming to unseat Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Congress’s longest-serving woman, with Derek Merrin after the state led a mid-decade redistricting effort. The seat is labeled a “Toss-up,” and Trump would have won the redrawn district by nearly 10 points. Kaptur defeated Merrin on the old lines by less than a point in 2024.

The NRCC backed Carlos De La Cruz in a vacant San Antonio-area seat created during Texas’s 2025 redistricting session. The district favors Republicans, but Democrats are targeting the seat.
