Winter Classic, September opener highlight Avalanche’s full schedule for 2026-27 season
Mark your hockey calendars, and don’t forget to add two more games.
The NHL on Thursday released the full schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Avalanche open theirs Sept. 30 at home against the Los Angeles Kings and close it April 10 at home against the Minnesota Wild.
One highlight is the Winter Classic between the avalanche and Utah Mammoth at Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium on New Year’s Eve.
This season also marks the return of the All-Star Game, which will take place Feb. 5-6 in Long Island, N.Y. The Avalanche are off from Jan. 30-Feb. 8.
