Where good news shines

Colorado State basketball is off to Texas.

CSU will compete in the inaugural Texas Legends Classic in Frisco on Dec. 18 and Dec. 20, the program said Tuesday. The Rams will meet Nevada and Florida Atlantic, respectively, at the Comerica Center.

“The Texas Legends Classic provides our program with a great opportunity to build an NCAA Tournament resume and prepare for our inaugural Pac-12 schedule,” CSU coach Ali Farokhmanesh said.

CSU also is scheduled to play in the Maui Invitational from Nov. 23-25. The Rams went 21-13 and qualified for the NIT in Farokhmanesh’s first season.
