Denver weather: Chilly but the sun coming out

Denver is forecast for a break in blizzardy conditions and, eventually, for some sunshine, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Wednesday morning will see cloud coverage that is expected to dissipate throughout the day, making room for the sun to shine. The high will likely be around 43 with light wind.
In the evening, skies will remain mostly clear with the low dropping to around 21. Winds are expected to remain light, staying around 6 mph.

“Quiet weather is expected for the extended period as the large low moves east and an upper level ridge develops over the central and northern Rockies,” the weather service said.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 46. Calm wind becoming east around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 52. Southwest wind around 7 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 54.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.
New Year’s Day: Sunny, with a high near 49.
