The dead body discovered outside of an Aurora tire store was identified Monday as 22-year-old Vincent Brown, the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office announced.
The autopsy concluded that Brown died from multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is homicide.
The Aurora Police Department has updated its suspicious death investigation to a homicide investigation following the autopsy results.
Police said the body was discovered at 10 a.m. Sunday in front of Front Range Tire and Auto at 3005 S. Peoria St., near the Nine Mile RTD station. Officers were responding to the area on a welfare check.
The deceased was described as a male with “obvious trauma” to his body. He was found laying on the ground outside of the shop.
Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
