Elderly woman suffers life-threatening injures during hit-and-run in Aurora
An elderly woman is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a black sedan during a hit-and-run Wednesday night in Aurora.
Aurora police officers were dispatched to East Colfax Avenue and Kingston Street after a report of a pedestrian involved hit-and-run at 6:49 p.m. Thursday.

When officers arrived, they found an elderly woman with serious injuries that are considered life-threatening. She was taken to a hospital.

During an initial investigation that closed East Colfax Avenue at Joliet Street, authorities learned a black Subaru Legacy was involved in the hit-and-run.
Police said the sedan has damage alongside the driver’s side of the vehicle.
