The safety closure in place for Interstate 70 in Glenwood Canyon following a Flash Flood Warning issued by the National Weather Service on Monday has been lifted.

There were no debris flow or mudslides during the Flash Flood Warning, but crews will be on standby throughout the evening according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

This closure comes following a series of shutdowns due to flash flooding, mudslides and falling rocks.
